Important Trail Closure Notice

 Parts of the New River Trail are closed due to major renovation work that will require the closure of trestles along the trail. The work is part of a multi-phase restoration project that will take several months to complete. The project is currently impacting the following sections of the trail:

- Fenders Curve to Fries Junction: Closed without a detour. This section of the trail is anticipated to reopen in early December.
